@kylekirvay

A thank you is in order to the men who helped me the most the past couple months. Not only to complete my first pro competition, because that would just be referencing my physical condition but more importantly these men have mentally shaped me into being a better person by seeing the way they conduct themselves and through all the help and advice they have given me. Thank you @dorian_hamilton for coaching me and seeing my potential, it’s been an awesome couple months and we have an even brighter future ahead. Thank you to @hd.muscle as well for having me a part of the team and providing me with top of the line products to use and top of the line teammates to have in my corner. To @officialflexwheeler I’ve watched you since I fell in love with bodybuilding at a young age and it is unbelievable to me that I had your help for this competition with my posing and to ease my mind with daily conversations and words of encouragement. You’re a role model to so many for the continued effort you put into this sport and it’s nothing short of a dream to be able to share some laughs and life talks with you. Thank you so much sir. @stevencao_ thank you for being by my side from the beginning, always believing in me, and offering me help any chance you could. Ever since you helped me with my first competition as an amateur you saw and still see the potential I have in this sport. Even while prepping for your winning prep this past weekend you always made time to put yourself aside and check on me. Truly selfless and it was an amazing time finally being able to compete at the same show together after all these years. Thank you gentlemen

2020 Chicago Pro and my pro debut..Experience of a lifetime. I went into this competition with 0 expectations and that made the experience all the more enjoyable. I wanted to get my feet wet and learn as much as possible and I did just that. To be able to say I was on the same stage with the top athletes of the sport and even in the same call out with legends like Johnnie Jackson was truly an honor. At only 25 and the youngest guy in the open bodybuilding class I know I have a tremendous amount to work on but in 2 years I went from a stage weight of 217 at 6’ all the way to 260. And guess what, I’m still one of the smallest guys 🤣 Out of 20+ amazing professional bodybuilders, I got third call outs out of four or five call outs which honestly, I am very content with. Now that I truly understand the mass these athletes have it is time to flip the switch and take my physique to the next level.

Number 10! All checked in and ready to go First pic is of me, coach @dorian_hamilton and fellow @team.h.d member @keone_prodigy And the second is me and @stevencao_ a very cool experience to be able to finally compete at the same competition with my friend since high school. Best of luck tomorrow champ, I’ll be watching

@kylekirvay

Filling out 🐅 Started eating a little carbs today, just got done pushing the food and had a really great second to last workout. Stay tuned for what me and @dorian_hamilton cook up!

@kylekirvay

I built this. I did. I cemented and layered each brick. I didn’t do what my parents wanted me to do, “Go to school”, “do this”, “I can get you this job, I know the guy.” I didn’t want any help or handouts in this life. I found my passion and ran with it. Like Frank Sinatra, “I did it my way.”

@kylekirvay

I remember being in my military college barracks, spending hours of researching and idolizing professional bodybuilders. I even use to write papers for school about bodybuilding. I was just a freshman sneaking into the gym that was only allowed open to upperclassmen because that’s how much I knew that this is exactly what I wanted to do. 6 years later at only 25 years old I will be fulfilling my dream and competing on a professional stage. I know I’m not going to be the biggest guy up there or place anywhere near the top but I will be doing something that I have dreamed about since I was a kid and that’s a win no placing can define.

@kylekirvay

A little action from the new YouTube video! Go show my channel some love because I will be uploading A LOT. I have a lot of great things planned including walkthrough workouts, diets, Q&As on my YouTube, and food challenges after this comp! Thank you all for the great support, you are my lifeline and are the reason I am pushing so hard to be the best I can be at everything!

@kylekirvay

Who the BLEEP else is pulling 7 wheels for reps 9 days out?! A huge thank you to all of you for supporting me, keeping me motivated and driving towards the goal I came in the gym with a damn killer instinct today! I work hard until the very second I step on that stage. No letting up now 🐅

@kylekirvay

I’m ready.

@kylekirvay

The name Tiger was given to me before my actual real name, Kyle. My mother had birth complications causing me to be delivered two weeks early due to the fact that I was moving around too much. She had surgeries done to try and put me back in place but I always flipped and moved back to a non-normal position, making her say “This boy is a real Tiger” Everyone in my hometown knows and calls me by Tiger and most of them don’t even know my name is Kyle or think it’s weird when someone calls me by that. All throughout my youth, high school, and even newspaper articles my name was Tiger. The name Tiger is something I hold responsible for a lot of the things I do and the way I act. If ever I am struggling in any aspect of life I say to myself, I am a Tiger. My name is Tiger. Because after all, how could you have a name like Tiger and be weak 🐅

@kylekirvay

Shoulder workout! Under 2 weeks out, pretty flat but still able to hit my presses! The one handed dumbbell presses are great because it requires soooo much stability and core work. It’s another workout you can bounce a little bit to crank out some extra reps. Sitting around 255lbs right now, time to turn up the heat these last 2 weeks!

@kylekirvay

Two weeks from today I’ll be doing my first professional bodybuilding competition. I haven’t been on stage in over two years. I believe one day I can be one of the greats but for this competition I just want to look like I belong up there and embrace the feeling of competing and being back in the saddle. This marks the beginning of my career and we’re only going up from here. Let’s kill these last two weeks

@kylekirvay

Walk into the unknown

@kylekirvay

Arm day destruction, three weeks out Still curling 135 and skulling 185 I’m a huge believer in however you trained to build your muscle, is how you should train to maintain it. Why all the sudden stop lifting heavy just because you’re in a deficit? That has never made sense to me. If you want to keep what you have, do what you have been doing. So I keep the weights heavy for the main movements and then I’ll go into lighter weights and more reps for the squeeze, contraction, and to get a pump. Exercises done ⬇️ 1. Barbell curls 2. Barbell tricep extensions 3. Spider curls 4. Single arm dumbbell extensions 5. Single arm cable curls 6. Tricep kickbacks

@kylekirvay

Happy I get to do what I love everyday 🙏🏼 Thank you everyone for the continued love and support

@kylekirvay

190lb single arm rows! I had to let out some roars during this mayhem 🐅 Swipe to see the full back workout Watch how I do the dumbbell rows Both of my feet are underneath me and my hips are squared. I see a lot of people doing a staggered stance with this exercise which moves the hips on two different planes causing you to rotate your core more which is not the point of this exercise. Notice my start and finish point of the rep. At the start, I am fully extended letting the weight almost just hang. At the top of my rep my elbow comes past behind my back, this is contracting the lat and back muscles to the fullest.

@kylekirvay

Squatting 7 wheels 3 and a half weeks out... Today was a workout I will never forget for as long as I live Easily the best leg day I’ve had all prep. We did three different types of HEAVY squat variations and then three accessories to finish off. If there was ever a perfect leg day, this was it Thanks for all the cheers and motivation during the lifts to everyone that was there and thank you all for the continued support and appreciate of moving some serious iron ✊🏼

@kylekirvay

A shoulder workout including ALL of my favorite shoulder exercises. Starting with a heavy compound movement as always. For shoulders, my favorite is hands down the standing barbell press. This exercise requires stabilization and engages the core a great degree. It is also an easy exercise to push yourself past failure with because even after your shoulders are exhausted you can still force a few more reps out with proper leg drive. I believe my shoulders are my best muscle because I have the strongest mind muscle connection with them, knowing and feeling which exercise targets each individual head of the deltoid. Share the knowledge!
