Rich and Strange (1932)
Personally, We didn’t really care for this film all together too much, but many Hitchcock fans certainly seem to get a kick out of it. We can respect it for what it is; it just wasn’t our particular cup of tea.
The film follows a young married couple on a voyage around the world. Along the way they both run into other new and exciting people and eventually both fall for someone else. But after surviving a disaster of the cruise ship sinking, and being rescued by a strange Oriental junk ship, their love seems to be rekindled. The film is satirical and sometimes funny, but looses some steam there in the end, in some parts in the middle, and in most of the beginning.
